Laura Thompson, Elevation Advising’s Founder and Director, is a nonprofit consultant committed to effecting positive social change at home and abroad. Over the past ten years, she has worked toward that end in Colorado, Washington D.C., Virginia, Nebraska, Oregon, Cambodia, and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Her experience includes grant writing, refugee resettlement, program development and evaluation, case management, English language instruction, copy editing, and work with the federal government. She has worked with a variety of organizations from small startups to international development NGOs.
